Actively developing a number of screenwriting projects - reach out if you’d like to collaborate. I also write poetry.

Kalmiopsis, Oregon

The Green Road

An eco-terrorist Bonnie and Clyde flee across the country from Louisiana to Oregon, taking refuge with a series of underground activist groups pursuing their own visions of utopia. Co-written with Daniel Blake Schwartz, writer-director of Cotton Fever.

Neskowin

Intimate feature set in a small town on the Oregon coast, as two visiting scientists run into local resistance during a field study of the thousand-year-old ghost forest.

Getting Good

In 1968, Stewart Brand opened his Whole Earth Catalog with an epic claim: “We are as gods now, and might as well get good at it.” In this feature-length screenplay, part rom-com, part heist movie, and part political exposé, two radically different visions for how best to save the world compete, as a conscientious NYC Parks Ranger fights (and fraternizes) with the leader of a group of dumpster-diving freegans in NYC’s most iconic green space: Central Park.

Freezerburn

Produced short film (won audience award for Best Short at SF Film, selected at Cinequest, Cleveland International, Bend Film), co-written with Sonia Mena, directed by Sarah Rattay-Maloney. Lou loves Sam and Sam loves Lou and it’s all going swimmingly until one night Lou’s secret, followed by a magical cat, breaks their whole world apart. An absurdist dark comedy about queerness, finding yourself, and the lies we live with until we can’t any longer.

Defensible Space

This short script, which deals with wildfires and the human relationship to climate, was named runner up in Sundance Collab’s monthly challenge for October 2020! Now developing a feature-length story from this seed.

Hemlock

This feature-length, self-contained thriller is still under wraps for the time being… stay tuned!
